- Bir bilişim sistemi için gerekli ihtiyaçları analiz edip, sisteme ait veritabanının analiz, dizayn ve implementasyon aşamalarındaki süreçlere hakim olur.
- Bilişim alanındaki güncel gelişmeleri ve kendi çalışmalarını sözlü ve görsel olarak sistemli bir şekilde aktarabilir.
- Bilişim teknolojileri başta olmak üzere işletmeciliğin çağdaş yöntem ve teknolojilerindeki güncel gelişmeleri izleme bilgi ve becerisini kazanır.
- Alanının ilişkili olduğu disiplinler arası etkileşimi kavrayabilir, gerektiğinde bir takım kurup, sorumluluk alıp, çalışmalarını takımla birlikte yürütebilir.
- İşletmede farklı alanlarda kullanılabilecek bilişim teknoloji ve sistemlerini tanır, gerekli durumlarda sistem sorumluluğunu üstlenebilir.
- Kendi alanı başta olmak üzere iş yaşamına ait hukuki, toplumsal ve ahlaki sorumluluklarıyla toplumsal dönüşümü algılayabilir.
- Lisans düzeyi yeterliliklerine dayalı olarak kazandığı bilgilerini uzmanlık düzeyinde geliştirebilir ve derinleştirebilir.
- Alanı ile ilgili uzmanlık gerektiren bir çalışmayı bağımsız olarak yürütebilir.
