- Bilginin (bilgisayar ve diğer bilgi teknolojilerini kullanarak) elde edilmesi, saklanması, yeniden erişilmesi ve güvenliği konusunda gerekli veritabanı sistemleri geliştirebilir ve yönetebilirler.
- Bilişim sistemleri ile ilgili temel kavramlara hâkim olarak işletmenin yönetim, üretim, pazarlama, insan kaynakları, sayısal yöntemler, muhasebe ve finans gibi temel fonksiyonlarını bilişim sistemleri çerçevesinde içselleştirebilirler.
