Further Info | Each student has to enrol to courses at the start of each semester. Each student has to follow at least 70% of the theoretical and 80% of the practical courses. In courses with at least 2 credits, the student has to pass one (or two) quis(es), one midterm examination and one final examination. In 1-credit courses quises are optional. In calculation of the course grade, 50% of the midterm activities and exams (homeworks, laboratory exams, quises can also be used in calculation) and 50% of the final exam grade is used. All exams are evaluated over a 100-grading system. The student has to get a minimum of 50 from the final exam. Students with AA, BA, BB, CB and CC grades are deemed successfull. DC and DD are conditional successfull; the students’ average grade should be a minimum of 2.0 for passing the DC and DD courses.1. He/she has basic and sufficient knowledge in every aspect of veterinary medicine and can use this knowledge efficiently.2. He/she performs his/her profession considering professional and ethical issues as well as animal rights.3. He/she has sufficient knowledge and skills in clinical and laboratory level for proper diagnosis and he/she can evaluate data.4. He/she, with his/her knowledge and skills, can create solutions and practices proper treatment methods.5. He/she knows and practices the basics of preventive medicine for individual and herd health.6. He/she has sufficient knowledge and skills about the principles of animal breeding, husbandry and nutrition.7. He/she has sufficient knowledge and skills about public health and farm-to-fork food safey and technology.8. He/she knows the laws and legislations about veterinary medicine and can analyze professional problems from various aspects.9.
