- A.Lisans sürecinde edinilen sosyolojik muhayyileyi kullanarak toplumsal gerçeklerin ayrımına varabilmek ve bunu bir makale ya da araştırma konusu haline getirebilmek.
- B.Güncel sosyolojik kavramsallaştırmalara ve modernizm, postmodernizm, küreselleşme gibi dönemselleştirmelere daha üst düzeyde açıklamalar getirebilmek.
- C.Sosyoloji biliminin başlıca dinamik konularından olan sosyal bilimlerde yöntem konusunu geliştirmek ve tez araştırmasında bunu tez konusu üzerinden yapabilmek.
