Key Learning Outcomes;

Graduates of the programs will be able to;

1. Make security audit about all kinds of tools, equipments, machinery used in the workplace and the risk factors related buildings safety.
2. Teach about mandatory "OHS orientation", "Basic OHS” and "Additional OHS" for employees.
3. Prepare an Emergency Action Plan in accordance with the characteristics of the work and the field of work.
4. Make risk assessment within the scope of occupational health and safety studies.
5. Apply current occupational health and safety legislation during his / her duty.
6. Work in coordination with the workplace doctor in order to protect employees against occupational diseases.
7. Work in the establishment of environmental and occupational health and safety management systems.

Supplementary Learning Outcomes;

Graduates of the programs will be able to;

1. Check the annual periodic control and environmental measurements which are mandatory for the operation of the accredited organizations.
2. Improve the quality of professional practice by using verbal and nonverbal communication knowledge and skills.
3. Know the situations in which teamwork is required and to be able to work as a team member.

Students who graduate from the program are instructed on issues such as;, business management, ensuring the safety of work, occupational health and safety records, filing, monitoring, management, judges, all emergency situations, disaster-based follow-up and implementation of the relevant legal procedure in the workplace, professional organizations, and regional emergency communication with neighbors and organizations that can offer consultancy services on the risk analysis, solution proposals and budgeting all these procedures accordingly.

Qualification is valid indefinitely.
