- Bitkisel üretimin her aşamasında ürün kayıplarına neden olan hastalıkların, zararlıların ve yabancı otların sistematik, morfolojik, biyolojik, ekolojik ve epidemiyolojik bilgileri öğrenir.
- Depolanmış ürünlerde ekonomik kayba neden olan hastalık ve zararlıların teşhisini öğrenir.
- Kamu ve özel tarım sektöründe çalışabilecek gerekli altyapı ve donanıma sahip olur.

At the end of each semester, the students are required to take a final examination. | Conditions for Success | Students should have successfully passed all compulsory and elective courses on the programme (equivalent to a total of 240 ECTS). Graduates, who have successfully completed all courses in the curriculum, will be awarded a Bachelor´s Degree (B.Sc.) degree with a major in Plant Protection. The students earn their academic degree on condition of successfully completing the required courses and compulsory internship education as contained in the Department curriculum. Following the registration at the University, the students embark on their first year of study. In order to earn The Degree , the students must satisfy all the principles and provisions of Dicle University associate and undergraduate education requirements. Also, the students are required to complete a period of internship education as specified by the rules and principles of Faculty of Agriculture. | |
