The aim is to equip graduates with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of information and communication technologies, enabling them to take their place as effective and responsible individuals in professional life. By imparting the knowledge, skills, and competencies outlined in the TYYÇ (Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework), it is targeted to prepare individuals for both the industry and academic studies.

Theoretical Education:

• Fundamental and advanced topics in computer sciences are covered in classroom lessons.
• The courses are designed with an approach that supports interdisciplinary learning as outlined in the TYYÇ (Turkish Higher Education Qualifications Framework).

Practical Education:

• Laboratory Work: Practical applications are carried out on topics such as programming, database management, and network security.
• Projects: Problem-solving-oriented studies are conducted using real-world examples.

Digital Platforms:

• Independent learning skills of students are supported through online learning tools.

Internship:

Mandatory internship programs are implemented in line with the TYYÇ's qualifications for gaining practical knowledge and skills.

• Can establish mathematical models of computer systems and simulate them on a computer. 
• Understands algorithm design and can perform analysis techniques. 
• Knows how to develop algorithms and can create data structures suitable for algorithms. 
• Is familiar with and can use software development platforms. 
• Gains the ability to work independently and take responsibility. 
• Develops the ability to learn how to learn and manage learning processes. 
• Knows at least one web programming language. 
• Is familiar with and can use web programming software development platforms. 
• Can independently identify a new computer-related problem. 
• Understands computer hardware components and can use them. 
• Knows the fundamental elements of computers and microprocessors and can make component selections. 
• Identifies the skills required for problem-solving and develops appropriate methods. 
• Proposes innovative solutions in line with the current state of basic sciences and technology. 

May have the following competencies at an advanced level:

• Uses digital tools and software development platforms effectively.
• Can take an active role in technical documentation, presentation and teamwork.
• Algorithmic thinking and innovative solutions to problems.

Evaluation of Success:

a) The status of students' education is monitored through the University Student Information System (OBS).

b) Success in a course is determined by the course grade. The course success grade is obtained by evaluating the success in the exams, practice, homework, project, project, attendance, laboratory and similar in-semester studies and the final exam together.

c) The success grade of a course is obtained by taking the percentage of the final exam grade, provided that the grade obtained as a result of in-semester exams and measurement systems is not less than 40% and not more than 60%.

d) The instructor of the course is obliged to announce to the students at the beginning of the semester; the content of the course, all kinds of measurement types that will be the basis for calculating the success grade.

e) Students are required to retake the failed compulsory or elective courses. However, if these courses are removed from the program, the relevant department/program determines which course to take.

f) The student must take the failed course with priority.

g) In the semester in which the student repeats the failed course, the attendance requirement for that course is not required.

Success grade:

Grades and coefficients are evaluated as indicated below.

a) Grades are given out of 100.

b) Courses with letter grades of AA, BA, BB, CB, CC are considered successful.

c) Courses with DD and DC letter grades are considered successful if the GPA is 2.00 and above (conditional pass) in Associate Degree programs.

d) Courses with a letter grade of FF are considered unsuccessful in all programs.

e) B and K grades are not included in grade point average calculations.

Grade Point Average:

The grade determined by dividing the sum of the coefficient of the success grade of the courses taken in a semester by the sum of the separate products of the ECTS values of those courses by the sum of the ECTS values of those courses is called Semester Weighted Grade Point Average (WGPA). The division is calculated by taking two digits after the comma and rounding to the upper value. The grade calculated by applying it to all courses taken is called the General Weighted Average (GANO).

To ensure the quality of higher education programs:

• The Council of Higher Education (YÖK) is responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and supervising education, teaching, and other activities in higher education institutions.
• "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" prepared within the framework of criteria determined by YÖK for higher education institutions are published annually. These reports, containing quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.
• The "Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report," containing academic, administrative, and financial data for foundation higher education institutions, is published annually by YÖK. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK. Quality assurance for undergraduate programs in higher education is ensured according to the "Principles and Procedures for Ensuring the Quality of Higher Education Diploma Programs":

1. Establishment and Approval of Educational Programs: YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the opening of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.1. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes of each program are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK in these matters.

1.2. After the approval of the National Core Education Programs by the relevant Council of Deans, they are implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of YÖK.

2. Measurement and Evaluation: The measurement and evaluation of the learning outcomes that each vocational program will provide to students are conducted according to the teaching and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK in these matters.

3. Certification: Students enrolled in vocational programs receive a bachelor's degree upon successful completion of the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions.

4. Self-Assessment - External Assessment: Higher education institutions enter the "Institutional Self-Assessment Reports" prepared by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) for the previous year into the Information System at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the "Institutional Feedback Report" prepared for the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions given by accreditation bodies authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also indicate that the quality assurance of programs has been ensured. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined by legislation.

Before the medical imaging techniques program, students are admitted by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) according to the results of the TYT score type according to the results of the central placement by ÖSYM.

Students who graduate from this program can apply to undergraduate education programs. With the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM, they can continue their education in departments such as Computer Engineering, Computer Technology and Information Systems, Computer and Information Systems, Computer and Instructional Technology Teaching, Computer and Software Engineering, Computer Informatics, Information Systems Engineering, Information Systems and Technologies, Information Technologies, Physics, Statistics, Statistics and Computer Science, Control Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, Mathematics-Computer, Meteorological Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Software Engineering.
