Further Info | (1) During a semester, for each class the students are given at least one mid-term and one final exam. The instructor can assess assignments, projects, laboratory, and likewise studies as a mid-term exam. Generally the final exam has to be a written exam. In special circumstances an oral or oral-verbal exam can be conducted by the approval of the board of directors of the relevant faculty/vocational school. For scoring final grades, all examination scores and other semester studies are taken into account.(2) For calculating the final grades of students, final exam’s the percentage cannot be under 40% nor more than 60%. Studies within the semester and final examination’s percentage on final grade are announced to students at the beginning of the semester.Computer Engineering without thesis, consists of 2 obligatory,8 free elective courses and a 6 credit hour Term Project.The students who complete all the courses (120 ECTS) in the registered programme with success within the regulations of the code; whose GPA is equal to or above 3.00; who complete the minimum number of required credit of the registered programme have a right to get a diploma. | |

(Must be taken within the last three years) 2. Must receive the minimum grade indicated in parenthesis in any one of the following English proficiency exams: - DÜİYES (65); - IELTS (6.50 in each section); - TOEFL ( 500 (classic), 200 (computerized), 79 (internet based)); - ÜDS (65); - KPDS (65)3. Candidates must have a degree in one of the following areas: Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a program similar to these disciplines. The applicants from other engineering programs can apply to this program. The accepted applicants should take the courses given in the preparatory program. 4. The graduation general average mark from his/her final school should be (GNO) 2.00/4.00. 5. Applicants have to take and be successful in the interview conducted by the Department 6. Decision for acceptance to M.S. program is based on the weighted average consisting of 50% of ALES (GRE) grade, 10% of B. Sc. GPA and 40% of interview grade. | |
