To be able to determine the appropriate tools and use information technologies in the scientific research process.

Examinations, Assessment and Evaluation PART THREE in the Iskenderun Technical University Graduate Education and Training Regulation, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 27 August 2017 and numbered 30167 - Attendance is stated in the Exams and Evaluation section: https://iste.edu.tr/oidb/yonetmelik-ve-yonergeler The masters program with thesis consists of at least seven courses, a seminar course and thesis, with a total of not less than twenty-one credits. The seminar course and thesis work are non-credit and are evaluated as successful or unsuccessful. The masters program with thesis consists of a total of at least 120 ECTS credits, provided that it is not less than 60 ECTS credits in one education period. The student has to register every semester starting from the semester following the appointment of an advisor at the latest. At most two of the courses to be taken by the student can be selected from the undergraduate courses, provided that they were not taken during the undergraduate education. In addition, with the recommendation of EABDB and the approval of the institute board of directors, a maximum of two courses can be selected from the courses offered in other higher education institutions.

Program graduates are software engineers, systems engineers, database administrators, database architects, network and internet security specialists, information security specialists/administrators, network administrators, network engineers, hardware technicians, control engineers, embedded systems specialists, web design specialists, in government or private sector. They work in many different business areas such as system designer. Information technologies have now entered almost every field imaginable, from education to health, from the service sector to the defense industry, and have begun to be used intensively. For this reason, computer engineers, who are indispensable actors of the informatics world, perform their professions in companies and institutions that do business in all these fields.
