| Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Yöntemleri | Bu program İngilizce olarak da eğitim vermektedir. Üniversitemize 2009 ve öncesinde kayıt olan öğrencilere ve 2010 ve sonrasında kayıt olan öğrencilere uygulanan iki tür yönetmelik bulunmaktadır (Yönetmelik 1-Y1; Yönetmelik 2-Y2): Programda mevcut olan (toplam 240 AKTS) derslerin tümünü başarıyla tamamlamak için 2009 ve öncesi girişli öğrenciler 100 üzerinden 50 ve 2010 ve sonrası girişli öğrenciler ise 4.00 üzerinden en az 2.00 ağırlıklı not ortalaması elde etmek zorundadırlar. | Giriş Şartı | Yükseköğretim Kurumu (YÖK) tarafından belirlenen yönetmelikler çerçevesinde, bu programa öğrenci kabulü Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme (ÖSYS) Merkezi tarafından yapılan sistem ile olmaktadır. Öğrenciler, öğrenim görmek istedikleri program tercihlerini bildirdikten sonra, bu sınavdan aldıkları puana göre bu merkez tarafından ilgili programlara yerleştirilmektedir. Yabancı uyruklu öğrenciler, bu programa uluslararası geçerliliği olan sınav sonuçlarıyla ya da ortaöğretim mezuniyet notlarına göre kabul edilmektedir (Önlisans ve Lisans Programları Yabancı Uyruklu Öğrenci Kabul Yönergesi). - Bilgisayar Mühendisleri, donanım ve yazılım konularındaki eğitim, bilgi birikimi ve deneyimleriyle, bilgisayar mühendisliği problemlerini tanımlarlar ve çözüm üretirler.
- Günümüzde bilgisayarlar hayatımızın vazgeçilmez bir parçası olmuş durumdadır.
- Teknolojik gelişmeler bilgisayarların kullanım alanlarını genişletmeye imkân verirken, her geçen gün çözülmesi gereken problem sayısı artmaktadır.
- Maltepe Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği programının amacı mezunlarına donanım ve yazılım konularında teorik bir altyapı ve bu teorik altyapının pratikte nasıl kullanıldığını öğretmektir.
- Amacımız mezunlarımızın farklı sektörlerin bilgisayar sistemleri ile çözülebilecek problemlerin çözümünde katkıda bulunacak mühendisler olarak yetişmeleridir.

- Computer engineers define and produce solutions to hardware and software related computer engineering problems using their education, knowledge and experience.
- Today, computers have become a part of our daily life.
- While technological advances present an opportunity to use computers in a wide variety of areas, the number of problems that computers are used to solve expand very rapidly.
- The main objective of the Maltepe University Computer Engineering department is to provide its graduates the theoretical foundation on hardware and software areas and their use towards solving practical problems.
- In doing so, our graduates are capable of solving information systems problems in different industries.
