Information Technology (IT) is a pioneering and innovative educational program prepared to educate human resources to meet our country's growing and changing information technologies requirements and expectations. IT Master's Program is going to eliminate the deficit of information specialist in the country. The main purpose of the program is to teach the processes of information technology analysis, design, development and management with modern methods and tools and to provide and encourage leadership skills for the management of these processes. For this purpose, the curriculum of the program includes courses on IT and current trends such as Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Service-Oriented Architecture, Business Process Modeling, Data and Network Security, Network Management, IT Strategy Planning and Governance, IT Economy and eCommerce.

During the graduate program, students' critical thinking, written and oral communication, teamwork, and doing a scientific research skills and abilities are encouraged with application of a variety of instructional methods and techniques. The program offers one option including thesis. In a thesis program, the students are encouraged to conduct an original research on the subject of IT and to be get prepared for doctoral programs. 

Acceptance to MS program is done in accordance with Atilim University, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Science, Regulations Concerning Graduate Study, Examination and Assessment (Item No:5).

The following rules apply for the acceptance of foreign students to MS programs.

• University diploma and transcript
• Letter(s) of approval(s) for the items in (1) by Higher Education Council (YÖK)
• Student performance and relevance to the applied program
• Result of the interview by the Department concerned
• Letter of intention
• A reference letter
• English proficiency:
  • Atilim University Proficiency Exam: 60, YDS:60, or equivalent proficiency as determined by the University Senato
  • Because the medium of education is English, the students who cannot certify their English Language Proficiency are required to attend the Preparatory School for a period of one year.

Considering interdisiplinary characteristics of that program, graduates of the program can be employed in information and communication technology companies in all scales, reasearch organizations, industries such as banking and health using ICT intensively, computer centers of public and private organizations, universities and many other fields. Innovative and entrepreneur graduates can establish their own companies. In addition, graduates can continue to PhD education at different universities in the country or abroad.
