Knows the concepts and theories in the field of physical education and sport.Gains the ability to benefit from scientific research methods and techniques in professional practice.Plans, teaches and evaluates physical education and sports lessons appropriate for a given level of education.Possesses the basic rhythm and coordination that can serve as the basis for folk dances, modern dance and all individual and team sports.Measures, evaluates the results and provides feedback. on the psychomotor characteristics of studentsOrganizes various learning environments and uses appropriate teaching methods for the developmental characteristics of all students, including those with special needs.Plans and implements social responsibility projects in order to improve the cultural and social environment.Gains the ability of effective communication in oral and written Turkish and is able to communicate in least with one foreign language.Gains the ability to use and follow the technological developments in actualizing the educational aims of Physical Education and Sports.Associates the basic knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and health with the pedagogical content.Understands all aspects of the Turkish National Educational System, the teaching profession and the educational sciences ins in the context of Ataturks principles and reforms.Gains professional responsibility and ethical values ??related to the field of the physical education and sports.The students of the Physical Education and Sports Teacher Program are trained to have qualified teaching skills for kindergarten, elementary, junior high and high school levels in terms of general culture and field knowledge of the teaching profession. They develop the ability to organize different physical education environments, conduct lessons using appropriate teaching methods and assess all students including those with special needs, in accordance with the their developmental characteristics. They also develop into individuals with professional responsibility and strong ethical values.

Assessment and evaluation methods applied for each course are described in detail in the hazırlanan Evaluation System ilgili tables prepared by the related faculty members and included in the information package. The relevant articles of Hacettepe University Associate, Bachelor Education and Examination Regulations are applied regarding exams and course grades.The student must have achieved all the courses in the program. In this program, the student has to have a minimum of 240 ECTS credits and must have a minimum grade point average.

A two-stage examination system is applied to the transition from high school to higher education. Examinations are carried out by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Detailed information about the exams can be found at http: www.osym.gov.tr. The first stage of the examination system is a common and single examination called GS Transition to Higher Education Examination Y (YGS). The en Transition to Higher Education Examination yeter is a test which will be used to ensure that those who successfully complete high school education and who wish to study at higher education will be subject to higher education. The second stage of the exam system is the “Special Ability Exam Sınav. The requirements for admission to the special talent exam are determined by the ÖSYM and the department and the exam entry directive is announced at http: www.gedik.edu.tr. According to the results of the special talent examination are eligible to study in the program.

Graduates of the Physical Education and Sports Teaching Program are appointed as eden Physical Education and Sports Teachers resmi and eden Physical Education and Sports Teachers ”are assigned to official and private education institutions under the Ministry of National Education. In addition, our graduates can also take part in the academic staff of universities, public and private institutions.
