The person with this qualification;

• The student has theoretical knowledge about concepts and principles in the field of physical education teacher.
• The student has knowledge about learning outcomes, course contents, teaching processes, teaching techniques, methods, models and tools as well as measurement and evaluation of pre-school, elementary, middle and high school curriculum.
• The student has knowledge about characteristics of pre-school, elementary, middle and high school students regarding developmental, learning and learning difficulties.
• The student has knowledge about the current situation of physical education teacher education programs within national and international cultures.
• The student is able to use and transfer and efficiently the concepts, principles and theoretical knowledge about the field of physical education teacher.
• The student has knowledge about the ways of accessing scientific knowledge and reports, as well as following, interpreting, evaluating and applying that knowledge in the field of physical education teacher.
• The student defines a problem as a research topic faced in process of class and school to develop solutions after analyzing and interpreting the results by using appropriate research design, method, techniques and data collection.
• The student has knowledge, skills, and attitudes about fundamental movement skills, specific movement skills, sport skills, active participation and healthy lifestyle.
• The student is able to plan learning process, use appropriate materials, teaching-learning models, strategies, methods, techniques and evaluate learning outcomes using multiple intelligence tools by considering preschool, elementary, middle and high school students  developmental characteristics, individual differences and learning environments.
• The student is able to maintain constantly professional development and evaluate critically previously acquired knowledge and skills by participating in professional development programs national and international level organized by universities, other schools or organizations as well as in-service teacher education activities.
• The student is accepted as a teacher at schools located in different socio-cultural environment and serves as a model, also plans and implements social responsibility projects and activities in order to improve social and cultural life.
• The students has conscious about universality of social rights, social justice and protection of cultural values.
• The student is able to use the language (Turkish) correctly and effectively.
• She/he needs to know at least one foreign language in order to communicate with her/his colleagues and get information in the field and behaves in accordance with ethical values related to the scientific and professional field.
• She/He knows the Turkish National Education system, teaching profession and educational sciences in all its aspects.
• She/He gains the ability to benefit from scientific research methods and techniques in applications for professional development.
• She/He is able to recognize and respond to preventive, curative, and preventive measures for those students with special circumstances (different disability groups, different levels of learning, different readiness levels) and those who are prone to being unhindered.

There is at least one midterm exam for each course. Students are assessed whether they are successful in the courses they have taken or not in two stages, one midterm and one final exam. Other than midterm exams, quizzes, projects and other activities that the instructor deems suitable can be done. The contribution of these activities to the number and grade of achievement is indicated in the course plan by the teaching staff. When passing grade is determined, midterm exam is 40% and final exam is 60% effective. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Success grade is converted to letter grade by applying the relative evaluation system. The relevant articles of Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University Associate Degree, Undergraduate Education-Examination and Examination Regulations shall be applied for examinations and course grades. In order to obtain a undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Sport Teaching, it is necessary to complete 240 ECTS and to obtain at least 2.00 overall academic average according to the quatrain system.

The admission, examination and evaluation procedures of the students are made according to the Higher Education Law and the decisions and regulations of the Higher Education Council based on this law. A two-stage examination system is applied in transition from high school to tertiary education. The exams are conducted by Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).

The first stage of the examination system is a joint and a single examination called Higher Education Transition Examination (YGS). Higher Education Transition Examination is an exam that successfully completes high school education and measures the adequacy of higher education for those who want to attend higher education. The second stage of the examination system is the Special Ability Examination . The conditions for admission to the special talent exam are determined by OSYM and the department and the examination entrance guide is announced at https://spor.alanya.edu.tr. According to the results of the special aptitude test are admitted to study in the program.

Physical Education and Sports Teacher Program graduates are assigned as Physical Education and Sport Teacher with the title and Physical Education and Sport Teacher as official and private education institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education. In addition, our graduates can also employed in the academic staff of universities, public and private institutions.
