- Meyve ve Sebzelerin bilimsel ve yöresel isimleri ve botanik özellikleri ile tanır.
- Bitkilerde organik maddelerin biyosentezi ve depolanması, solunum, büyüme ve gelişme olayları, bitki-su ilişkileri, iklim- toprak ve bitki ilişkileri, çevre sorunları konuları ve organik tarım konularında temel bilgiye sahip olur.
- Sulama metodları, toprak işleme, gübre çeşitleri ile bitki besleme ve gübreleme konularında bilgiye sahip olur ve uygulamasını yapar.
- Yabancı ot, hastalık ve zararlıları tanır ve mücadelesini yapar.
- Tarım alet ve makinelerini tanır ve kullanır.
- Meyve ve sebzeleri yetiştirir, pazarlar ve depolar.
- Meyve ve sebze fidan ve fidesini çoğaltır, pazarlar ve sertifikasyonunu yapar.
- Üretim projeleri hazırlar, bunların uygulama ve kontrolünü yapar.
- Bilgisayar ve internet teknolojilerini kullanarak kurumsal bilgiyi oluşturma, düzenleme, iletme, saklama, sunma, paylaşma becerilerine sahip olurlar.
- Çevre sorunlarına duyarlı, doğal ve kültürel kaynakları koruyan çevre bilincine sahip olurlar.
- Meslek alanı ile ilgili araştırma yapar ve bilgi toplar, rapor haline getirir ve raporu, hizmet verdiği kişi ve gruplara açık bir şekilde sözlü ve yazılı olarak anlatır ve takım çalışması yapar.
- İyi derecede Türkçe kullanım becerisine sahip olup, orta düzeyde İngilizce kullanım becerisine sahiptir.
Mezun olan öğrencilerimiz Tarım sektöründeki yetiştiricilik, muhafaza ve pazarlama alanında tekniker olarak görev alabilirler.

A student who does not fulfil the requirement for attendance is not allowed to take the final examination for the semester concerned. A student in such status is to repeat the course. At least one midterm examination and a final examination are given each semester.
