- Zootekni Anabilim Dalı ile ilgili temel kavramları tanımlayabilme ve uygulama.
- Belli bir alanda genel ortaöğretimde kazanılan bilgi beceri ve yetkinlikler üzerine Lisans döneminde inşa edilmiş ve kendi alanının en yeni bilgilerini içeren ders malzemeleri ve diğer bilimsel kaynaklarla desteklenen ileri düzeyde bilgi ve kavrayışa sahip olma ve kullanabilme.
- Analitik problemleri formüle edebilme, çözüm yolları üretebilecek yetiye sahip olma.
- Mevcut hayvan varlığıyla verimin arttırılabilmesine yönelik çözüm yolları üretebilme.
- Zootekni uygulamaları için gerekli güncel bilimsel bilgiyi, çağdaş teknolojiyi, en uygun yöntemleri ve bilgi sistemlerini kullanabilme becerisini gösterebilme.

| Further Info | It is compulsory to have at least 70% attendance for each graduate course in a semester . Achievement is measured through in term assessment (assignments, midterm exams) and with final exams. Examinations are applied in various ways as written, oral, or both written and oral, and/or practictise. At least one midterm exam is to be given for each course. Detailed explanations regarding the assessment and evaluation in the courses take place in the course information page. Examinations are assessed through grades out of 100. Passing grade is calculated by adding the 30% of the average of midterm exam grades to the 70% of the Final or make up exam. In Master’s Programs both with dissertation and without dissertation the passing grade is at least 65 out of 100 and 2 CC out of 4. Success in elective courses, special field courses, seminars and dissertation studies is indicated by using G (passed) or B (succeeded). While calculating average passing grade the courses defined as passed (G), succeeded (B) exempted (M) are not taken in to consideration.A student is required to successfully complete the designated program of courses meet a minimum of 48 ECTS credit. | |

Registration process is based upon the applicant’s declarations on the status of the compulsory military service and the judicial records. The documents presented for the application shall not be asked again from the applicants who are entitled for the registration. Applicants must fulfill the conditions and succeed the prerequisite exam(s) necessary set by university and the HEC, in order to register to a certain program. Students who are already enrolled to programs in other universities in Turkey or programs abroad can apply to be transferred to the corresponding program as long as fulfilling the conditions set by the program, Institute and the University. Evaluation procedure is carried out at the beginning of the semester according to the circumstance of the student and the program applied for.
