- Hastanın ameliyathaneye alındıktan sonra gerekli hazırlıkları yapar.
- Hastaya genel anestezi uygulanmasında yardımcı olur.
- Genel anestezinin idamesi sırasında yardımcı olur.
- Genel anestezinin sonlandırılması ve sonrasında yardımcı olur.
